Although final design requirement originates with the client, we have always had an open-door policy with regards to application, sound practice and general technical advice. Information is strength and with decades of experience in the industry, we sure do “know our stuff”
All our designs are done via the latest and greatest in 3D Draughting Technology, once again allowing us to remain on the technological forefront, thus further complementing our sound Technical ability.

The Mechtech name has been associated with power transmissions and sprockets in particular for over 20 years now, with the Woest name alone having decades of experience in this field. In 2018 Mechtech celebrates its 21st Birthday in the Power Transmission industry, a feat only made possible by our ethos and the support of our clients, of whom we proudly associate ourselves with.
We have in our staff trained artisans, experienced CAD Draughtsmen and professional administrative personnel. Renowned for our exceptional quality and sound technical advice, we are able to assist in any project big or small. We know our Business!

Our premises are owned and modern, housing several quality machines including: 17 Gear cutters, 10 convention lathes, 7 numerically controlled lathes and machining centres, 3 conventional slotting machines, 1 numerically controlled slotting machine, 3 milling machines, 2 boring mills, overhead crane facility and in-house shot blasting facilities (and much, much more). All to ensure you receive exactly what you are looking for.
